Life Design Group-Virtually
A Life Design Group is in the planning stages, virtually. Participants will have the opportunity for learning about their lives, gain important insight about their intentions and dreams, and develop a plan for personal growth and change. Individuals, who previously attended this group for women, were truly connected, learned about what they desired in life, and developed a new perspective in their life for change. Groups will be limited to 8 participants. Both day and evening groups may be added if there is enough expressed interest.

The original cost was $400.00, yet due to the virtual services, cost for the 8 weeks will be $350.00 which includes educational materials, and time with the Life Coach. The cost is about $20 per hour ($40) for two hours of life coaching at a reduced cost. Pre-payment for the group is necessary for to confirm registration.
Self Esteem Group-Virtually
Self Esteem Groups are also in the planning stages for Winter, 2021, if there is enough interest. This type of group, includes both coaching and psycho-education and provides group and individual experiences with opportunities for growth, sharing, learning about how to change positively, and gaining insight regarding how one’s self-esteem evolved to the current state.
The original cost was $300 per group experience of six weeks, yet due to providing virtually, the cost is $250.00 which is about $20.00 per hour for each of the two hours. Educational materials are included. If you you are interested, the may be, if there is need, a day group. The group is led by the practice counselor, Kathy L. Fortner, EdS, LPC, CCMHC. Pre-payment is necessary to confirm registration.
Stress Management in During COVID-Winter, 2021
If you or someone you know is experiencing stress and anxiety during the COVID-19 event, stress management, virtually, will be offered. Groups of 8 participants with work with stress management, tools to reduce anxiety, creative ways to develop coping skills in the work environment, and at home. Sharing through grief with others can be a very helpful part of the process. The cost will be $180.00 for six weeks with materials provided. Space will be limited to 8 participants, so contact the office now for further information and to place your name on our contact list. Pre-payment is necessary to confirm registration.
Parenting Education Groups-Virtually-If there is interest, Winter, 2021
Interest has been expressed in the past for a in a six-week Parenting Education groups to be formed with focus on parents of children aged 5-12 or aged 13-17 . Days and times to be determined as there may be an early morning group, lunch group, early afternoon, or evening group. If you or someone you know may be interested, contact the practice by emailing the counselor at firstname.lastname@example.org or by calling the practice at (843) 240-9446 The cost for six weeks with materials originally was $180, but during this time the group will be held for $120.00. Between group sessions there will be free consultation with the counselor who will be available either by phone call or by email. At this time, there has been interest and groups will be formed on an as needed basis. If there is need for additional groups to be scheduled this will be possible.
Life Rebuilding After Divorce
Rebuilding After Divorce Groups may be held during 2021, with enough interest. This is a wonderful opportunity for men and women, who are going through divorce, to meet with others to share, grow, and develop new skills. Sessions are held for 6 weeks, with one and a half hours for each session. Two free assessments, one at the beginning and one at the conclusion of the group, are provided. One free private session with the coach is offered, to take pre-assessment, and determine personal needs of the group. Other topics that may be added in the virtual group process would be Anger Management, Communication Skills, Grief Education, Time Management, and Coping During COVID-19.
